Karanga Kiosk is the welcoming heart of Wynyard Quarter.
Karanga Kiosk is the welcoming heart of Wynyard Quarter. Located in Karanga Plaza, the kiosk's friendly team of volunteers is fully trained to help you get the most out of your time in the area.
Take time to explore the interactive displays where you will find information about the heritage of the area, the revitalisation and plans for the future. Learn about our partners and the regular activiation programmes taking place in Wynyard Quarter.
The Kiosk makes an excellent pit stop on your tour of the area with facilities including toilets and ATM and a wheel chair available to borrow. The kiosk hosts are happy to help with information in advance of a visit to Wynyard Quarter, particularly if you have any special accessibility requirements.
If you look closely at the name badges our staff wear, you may see another nationality's flag alongside their name. This means that they are able to speak that language as well as English, so if you need or prefer to be helped in another language, you can be.

This is a role allows locals to welcome travelers to our shores and suggest great places for them to see and explore. If you can speak another language that would be lovely too but isn’t essential.
